Homemade Gatorade

If your kids like Gatorade, try having them make their own version. Store in the fridge ready to drink in a pitcher or pour into individual bottles.

Simple Homemade Gatorade

1 Cup 100% natural apple juice, grape or lemon juice
Pinch of kosher or sea salt
6 Cups water
2 Tablespoons sweetener -*sugar free substitute, honey or white sugar (whichever you like to use at your house)
Add ingredients to a pitcher or large juice bottle and shake until well blended.

*Tip -if you blend with hot water it will help blend your sweetener and salt. Allow to cool and chill in the fridge.

Fruity Gatorade

Want a little extra flavor? Here is my favorite homemade Gatorade combo.

8 Cups water
1/4 Cup sweetener -*sugar free substitute or white sugar (whichever you like to use at your house)
Pinch of kosher or sea salt
1/2 Cup cranberry juice (substitute orange or lemon juice if you prefer)
1 pack unsweetened Crystal Light or Kool-aid

Add ingredients to a pitcher or large juice bottle and shake until well blended.

*Tip- if you blend with hot water it will help blend your sweetener and salt. Allow to cool and chill in the fridge.
