Using Electronics in the Kitchen- Part 2

My kids LOVE to play electronics and my husband and I are always trying to find ways to use electronics more as a learning tool then just playing games.

I feel like it is okay to use some "downtime" for playing meaningless games or TV watching but I think there has to be a whole lot more time devoted to exercise and learning.

Electronics and Cooking

I posted using electronics in the kitchen back in 2012 and realized so much has changed (and so little hasn't changed) that I need a Part 2!

So let's talk about using electronics for "good" in the kitchen and cooking.

The iPad of course is a huge advancement that I didn't touch on in the last post. The most popular now a days is the food apps you can use to search and learn recipes.

You can also subscribe to cooking magazines that you get right in your iPad.

The same ideas work on the Amazon Kindle. These devices can replace cookbooks in your kitchen where you can store 100's of cookbooks without trying to find room on a bookshelf or kitchen shelf.

The older post still has some great ideas like using your iPod for food podcasts and we already talked about the Kindle.

What are some of your favorite electronics to use in the kitchen?
